If sufficient numbers then we are able to hold Week-end Foundation Courses at Chesterfield for small groups. These are held on a small group basis but we need at least four candidates for these courses. There is a small waiting list. These courses are held over 2 full Saturdays and 3 hrs on a Saturday Afternoon. Lunch is Provided on the first two Saturdays. Those not wanting Lunch there is a discount. Ring or email for detail.

We welcome, Self Taught, Study at home or just can't find somewhere to take an exam. You don't have to join the club!

Amateur Radio Licensing, Training Course's and Exams held at Chesterfield are approved by The Radio Society of Great Britain RSGB for The Radio Communications Examination RCF

Taking your FIRST Amateur Radio License. You will need to register on the OFCOM system to ensure that when your "PASS" Certificate is entered onto the system it can be matched to your application. Doing this will also ensure your license is not delayed..

To Register:
Firstly: Register on the OFCOM System remember to make a note of your Username & Password as you will need it later. Click here for OFCOM Website.

Secondly: When you have your Pass Certificate, wait  "APPROX FOUR DAYS" and then log onto your account at OFCOM and enter the details off the PASS CERTIFICATE. It's that simple.

All Classes of Amateur Radio license.
You will need to "LOG ON" to your account at least once every FIVE YEARS to ensure that you keep your "LIFETIME LICENSE up to date. Paper applications and renewals will cost at least £20.
