Amateur Radio Training "Foundation Course (M6)"

Our Next Foundation Starts 5th November for TWO saturdays. Each day starts at 10am till 6pm. The Exam is on the second Saturday 12th November at around 6pm. Enrollment is done during October. Lunch is provided for those who require it should no lunch be required please deduct £7.50p from course fee. (Course fee's are on web site but you need to be registered to access that page) Foundation Now book is available at Members price of £4.99 and no P&P))

Allow approx 3 days after exam when your "NEW" call sign will be available.

Our minimum number is four(4) candidates so please give us a ring on 01246 275 889 or Mobile 07919 173 516 and add your name to the waiting list. Our Foundation Courses's are now held over 3 Saturdays. The first and second Saturday from 10am till 5pm and the third Saturday from 12 noon till approx 4pm for last minute question time and then the exam at 3pm. The First Step- This the First Step in the 3 Part License. Upon completing and passing the exam you will be issued with an M6 Call-sign. This will permit operation on the 1.81khz to 430Mhz bands with a power of 10watts.The exam consists of 25 multi-answer Questions and Answer paper & lasts just 45mins.
