Saturday 23th June and Sunday 24th June 2012 see's the Fifth Annual Ashgate Midsummer Night Walk. As in previous years The Group has actively supported North East Derbyshire RAYNET and The Organizers on this Night. The walk has been attracting around 1400 lady walkers from all the four corners of the UK and I'm told from the around the Globe as well. The walk starts around Midnight and ends at approximate 6(ish)am(LocalTime))

2011 saw a confirmed1248 lady walkers. WE NEED YOUR HELP.

The walk is over a 14 mile course starting and finishing at Dronfield with the half way point at The Ashgate Hospice.

Refreshments are available at the start and a welcome Bacon Buttie at the finish point.(RAYNET members also receive a bacon buttie as well(breakfast on the park!)

We need around 15 to 20 operators on this night "Can You Help" so can you help Ashgate Hospice urgently raise funds for the Hospice and by doing our bit to help we can be sure that Ashgate Hospice continues there work for many years to come. Thanks to all who provided "Ham" communications at the 2011 Ashgate Midsummer Night Walk. It was very busy for all.
