Also during the demonstrations we took our fund raising stall "Lucky 7" which is used to fund the purchase of equipment and other costs of running the RAE Training Courses.
This allows us to keep the costs "LOW" when running the Training Courses.
Where possible we will add a Web Link to the event listed so that more information may be got.

June 19th & 20th.During the last two years the group has been involved with assisting North East Derbyshire RAYNET in providing operators for the annual ASHGATE Midsummer Night Walk. Held over the week-end nearest to Midsummer Night the group has for the last two years assisted North East Derbyshire RAYNET. Covering a distance of 14 miles this walk starts at Dronfield and ends at the starting point but wings its way through to Ashgate Hospice and then covers almost the same route back to the starting point.
July 3rd see's the group giving an Ham Demonstration at Wingerworth "Hunloke School" as well as our "Lucky 7" stall. A couple of years ago Hunloke School was ravaged by fire and destroyed almost all the school. The school as been rebuilt but the contents are very hard to replace. The County Council involved only pays for the buildings so "The School" holds a carnival event to raise funds to replace goods lost in the fire. This is the second time we have been at the school . We are giving an "Ham Demonstration as well as taking our "Lucky 7" stall. Please support us at this event as a lot of the fund raising goes to replacing LOST EQUIPMENT during the fire.
July 17th. This is the second time at Cutthorpe Carnival. The ground opens to the public from Midday with the carnival procession at 2pm. We shall be having our Demonstration Station again this year which sparked a lot of interest. Our "Lucky 7" stall will be there again as well a definite favorite on the Show Ground. Further details can be had from the Organizers c/o The Three Merry Lads Public House in Cutthorpe Village.
